Sierra Research has extensive experience in providing expert technical services in a number of cases where air quality and public health have been an issue. These cases have included:

Administrative proceedings (including variance hearings) and enforcement actions involving local, state, and federal regulatory agencies;
Licensing proceedings before local, state, and federal regulatory agencies;
Product liability and patent litigation;
Litigation alleging harm to individuals or property related to air pollutant emissions; and
Legal challenges to local, state, and federal regulatory programs.

In addition to providing expert technical consulting services to clients involved in litigation, a number of members of Sierra’s staff have been qualified as experts and have prepared expert reports and declarations, have been deposed, and have testified at trial in both state and federal courts. Sierra’s activities have been in support of both plaintiffs and defendants in these proceedings.
