CARB Mandatory Reporting: Preparation and submittal of
annual GHG inventory reports using the CARB mandatory reporting
tool software for electricity generating and cogeneration
facilities, power entities with electricity transactions, cement
plants, refineries and hydrogen plants, and general stationary
combustion facilities.

EPA Mandatory Reporting: Preparation and submittal of annual
GHG inventory reports using the EPA mandatory reporting tool
software for subject facilities, including, but not limited to,
electricity generating and cogeneration facilities, cement
plants, refineries and hydrogen plants, and general stationary
combustion facilities.

Sierra is a CARB-Accredited Verification Body.
Verification services for facilities subject to
CARB’s mandatory GHG reporting rule are provided by four
CARB-accredited Lead Verifiers on staff with general and
sector specific accreditations in the Refinery and Power
Entities sectors. Sierra’s expertise in GHG emissions
verification services includes:

Providing required verification services
for compliance with CARB annual and triennial verification
requirements;

Providing informal verification auditing
of annual GHG reports prepared by others; and

Assisting facilities in addressing
deficiencies identified in Verification Reports prepared by
others.

Permit assistance for developers of GHG-emitting industrial
facilities and power plants subject to air pollution control
requirements.

Development assistance for GHG-emitting energy projects fueled
with natural gas, oil, digester gas, landfill gas, gasified coal
and sewage sludge, petroleum coke, wood waste, biomass,
municipal solid waste, and agricultural waste used in gas
turbines, Diesel engines, and conventional and fluidized bed
boilers.
