Staff Profile - Lori Williams
■ Professional Profile Ms. Williams is an Associate Engineer at Sierra Research who provides data analysis and field-research assistance, as well as ongoing reporting and analysis services related to rulemaking actions by the California Air Resources Board. She has assisted in the development of a number of emissions inventory projects and worked extensively with EPA's NONROAD Model on projects ranging from the generation of nonroad emissions inventories, to simulating the exhaust emission effects of PM and NOx aftertreatment on Diesel engines. Other projects have included trip cycle development, and modeling and analysis for established I/M programs, as well as data analysis to verify program integrity for I/M program startups, such as those in Ohio and Maryland. Ms. Williams has been working in the air quality field since 1989. Before beginning work for Sierra part-time in 1991 and full-time in 1994, she was employed in the Environmental Services Department at Bechtel Petroleum's Elk Hills facility. She has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, with Environmental Engineering emphasis, from California State University, Sacramento.
