Ms. Gianolini's primary duties at Sierra Research involve analysis of current state legislation related to the vehicle emission control program, data acquisition, statistical analysis, and report editing. Additional responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing, and reporting to clients on federal, state, and local regulation development activities, such as workshops and public hearings; and assisting clients with questions on vehicle-related regulatory issues. Projects have included assistance in evaluating the costs and emissions benefits associated with transportation control measures, an analysis of projections of future levels of travel in the U.S. for the Environmental Protection Agency, an analysis of survey data on wood usage patterns in California for use in the state emissions inventory, and completion of a particulate matter inventory for the Fairbanks North Star Borough. She has been with Sierra Research since 1987.
