■ Professional Profile Mr. Anderson is an Associate Specialist at Sierra Research who provides a range of technical support on a variety of projects. Work has included preparing initial and renewal Title V permit applications and operating permit modification applications for electric power generating facilities in Washington state and northern California; collecting historical data and performing analysis of fuel usage, gross power output, and emissions from a 1,000 MW natural gas-fired power plant in Southern California; preparing air quality mitigation plans; and conducting BACT and permitting analysis as well as meteorological and air quality data analysis. Mr. Anderson has been working in the air quality field since 1997. Prior to joining Sierra Research in 2008, he was an intern at ENSR|AECOM, focused primarily on permit applications and meteorological data analysis. Before that, he was Manager of Forecasting Services and Public Outreach at Sonoma Technology, Inc. (STI). Work at STI included developing year-round ozone and PM2.5 forecasting programs; analyzing pollution formation and transport; and designing and operating an ozone mapping system, as well as designing and managing the U.S. EPA’s AIRNow Data Management Center. Mr. Anderson has a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from the University of California at Davis, and is in the process of completing his M.S. in Atmospheric Science from Rutgers University.
